Author Biography

Lucy Bush

Lucy Bush is an Assistant Professor in the Tift College of Education at Mercer University. Prior to joining the faculty, she taught Spanish at the elementary and secondary levels as well as middle level sheltered content social studies.  She currently teaches graduate courses in elementary social studies methods, elementary and secondary instructional planning, research methods, and assessment to pre-service and in-service educators. Her primary research interests include educational technology, English language acquisition, and social science education. She is currently researching the role of virtually simulated classrooms on teachers’ sense of efficacy, the use of geospatial technologies in social studies, and the integration of children’s literature iOS applications in elementary schools.
