Cueponcaxochitl Moreno Sandoval, Stanislaus State University

Cueponcaxochitl D. Moreno Sandoval (she/they) (Xicanx Izkalohteka of Caxcan/Zacateco ancestry) is an associate professor of Ethnic Studies at Stanislaus State in Turlock, California. Her research focuses on revitalizing ancestral knowledge systems within three areas: a) Across California Native Landscapes, b) Ancestral Computing for Sustainability, and c) Son Jarocho Fandango methodologies. Her most recent book publication (July 2024) is Storying Son Jarocho Fandango: A Culturally Decolonizing Pedagogy in Ethnic Studies with Teachers College Press.
